How to improve your chance of getting pregnant

Most couples are struggling to get pregnant without any luck. This can be very disappointing and frustrating if they have to try over and over again every month.

If you find yourself in this position, there are some simple things that you could do to increase your chances. When you learn how to improve your chance of getting pregnant, you will be on your way to experiencing the joys of giving birth much sooner than you think.

Tips on How to Improve Your Chance Of Getting Pregnant

In most cases, having sex is a great way to improve your chances of conceiving. You might want to try having sex three times or more in one week, particularly on your most fertile days.

Couples are recommended to engage in sexual intercourse every other day when the man has a sperm count that is very low. Another way to increase your chances through sex is to have intercourse during the morning when the semen has more sperm [1].

You should try to lie down for a minimum of 10 to 15 minutes after having sex to give the sperm sufficient time to go through the cervix opening. A small pillow can be helpful here as you can use it to prop your hips up.

Be careful though, as the semen might settle below the cervix if the pillow is tilted too high and this will prevent the sperm from entering the uterus.

Charting your menstrual periods is also one of the best approaches to take when you want to improve your chances of becoming pregnant. Even though this might seem obvious, many women don’t understand their ovulation cycle. You need to have sex as near as you possibly can to your ovulation time.

Aim to conceive on the fourteenth day following the start of your period. You can use a calendar to ensure that you have the right calculation.

In addition to the above, giving up certain vices could significantly increase your chances of conceiving. This includes removing things like cigarettes, alcohol, and caffeine from your daily diet.

These items can have a negative effect on your body and during this time you want to do everything that you possibly can to prepare for the possibility of carrying a child.

Last but not least, you need to relax. Your stress levels can be affected and interfere with your natural body chemistry if you are completely focused on conceiving.

Try to do things that will help to take your mind off the failed attempts to get pregnant. You could try going out and spending time with friends, exercising more or plan a fun getaway. Once your body is relaxed you can try to conceive once again.
