Hi Jen, you could have tested too early. If you were spotting on the 9th through the 13th, it could have been that you were ovulating later than you anticipated. Give it about 5-7 days and then test again if you don’t get your period.

Hi Brittany, looking at what you are saying, it seems to be your regular period. If you want to be more sure of it take a pregnancy test, but this appears to just be your period.
Hello. I’ve had a regular period last month on March 17- 22nd. I downloaded a period tracker just to try it out and it said that I should have my next cycle on the 13th of this month. Well, I started spotting piling brown on the 14th, the next day there was nothing and then again on the 3rd day. I usually get headaches a few days before my regular cycle and really tender nipples. I’ve experienced the headaches a few days before the 13th. I was expecting my cycle on the 17th but still nothing. Some advice please?

Thank you Allison, I was thinking the same until I realized I was actually 8 days late. I’ve taken 2 pregnancy test and both are negative but now I’m having a little back pain. Hi my period started from 14-19 march, then I had intercourse with my husband on my fertility window . My period cycle is usually between 27-29 and last week I had spotting on day 28. This time my period was light and on and off for 4 days. It stopped then 2 days ago I’ve been spotting brown. Hi Nandi, it could be from ovulating, some women are very sensitive to their cycles and the changes that are happening in their body. On the more medical and serious sides it could be pelvic inflammatory disease or a UTI (quite common, especially if you don’t urinate after sex). Hi Niki, could have been ovulation bleeding (if you ovulated late) could have been implantation bleeding early. I would recommend a pregnancy test if you miss your period at this point because you had unprotected sex during your fertile period based on a 28 day cycle. Hi Talitha, how long is your cycle normally? The bleeding could have been ovulation bleeding however it would have been a little bit late if you were on a 28 day cycle. Were you dealing with anything else stressful or significant changes in your life, medications, etc., because that could cause a change in your cycle. Have you taken a pregnancy test? If you don’t get your period I would recommend that as your next step.

Hi Joyce, I’m not sure what pills we are talking about you taking here. If they are a plan B you took them late. However any type of medication can affect your cycle. Generally if you have your period it’s a sign that you aren’t pregnant.
