My last period was March 5 and we had sex on March 25. Now I’m 8 days late on my period. Could I be pregnant?
This depends on whether you were ovulating at that time. The best thing to do at this time is to take a pregnancy test.
This is going to sound crazy but I had a period in February from feb 4-8, had sex (with a condom) on the 13. Had a normal period in March from March 6-9, but my period for April is 9 days late according my period tracker. I know to never take the date is says as gospel but it’s never this late but I haven’t had sex since Feb. so I know I’m definitely not pregnant. What could cause a really late period?
Hi Sasha, a late period can be for many other reasons than pregnancy. A birth control pill, some other kind of medication, sudden heavy exercise, stress or even a big change in food habits.
I’ve been having some symptoms like tender and sore breasts, cramps, diarrhea, and I’ve been tired a lot more lately. I had sex on the 24th of last month and it’s only the 11th today. I took a pregnancy test but it was negative. Could I be pregnant and I just took it too early or is the test correct?
My last period started on the 26th of March, 2016 and I had unprotected sex on Tuesday 29th. From the 9th of April I have been having upper and lower tummy cramps, vomited once and felt nausea, occasional backache, and tingling in my breasts. Could I be pregnant?
You may not be pregnant. When is your April period due?
Last month I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. I took a pregnancy test and it came out to be negative. My period was due for this month on the 6th and I still didn’t get my period. We had unprotected sex last night. What should I do?
Taking the Postinor emergency contraceptive within 24 hours after sex will reduce the risk of pregnancy. If 24 hours have passed it may not be as effective. You may have to wait a bit more to see if you’ll have a period. You can take another pregnancy test but you must take it at least one week after missing your period for the most effective results.
My last period was on the 20th of March and I had sex on the 4th, 5th and 6th of April. Any chance I could get pregnant?
Your chances of being pregnant depend on whether you were fertile on or around the date that you had sex. Can you confirm the number of days in your menstrual cycle? This information is needed to provide you with the most accurate response.
Hi, I am 26 and i had my last period from 18 feb and ended on 24th feb. I had sex with my partner on 20th or 21st of march (my periods usually come on the date i finish). I was expecting my periods on 24 or 26 but its been 54 days now, I don’t have periods, i feel nauseous, terrible lower back pain and upper back pain, watery discharge , i crave for sweets which i don’t like at all, i feel hungry most of the times, cramping. I have tried home pregnancy test 2 times lately bit all both were negative, someone told me to check again after to more weeks because of the HCG.
Can anyone help, if i am pregnant or not .
Thanks
Hi Neena, your signs indicate pregnancy, so it’s confusing that the tests gave negative results. If you took the tests before 10 days after missing your period, then you can take a test again. Also you can try using a different brand pregnancy test, although most probably that should not be the reason for showing negative. If you still get negative results, please see a doctor. All the best!
I had a period on March 17, and my average cycle is 35 days. On March 28 and April 5 we had sexual intercourse. Could I be pregnant?
Based on the number of days in your cycle, your most fertile period was April 05 to April 09, 2016. It is possible that you conceived. Your next menstrual period is expected to start on April 21, 2016. Good luck!
I had my I.U.D removed on March 30th and had sex with my husband on March 31st 3 more times after that..could I be pregnant..First day of my period was March 20-27th
Hi Candice, yes you may get pregnant. All the best!
My last period started March 8th and lasted till the 15th and I’ve had unprotected sex on the 24th-30th and ever since then I’ve been having weird symptoms, my nipples are tender, I’ve had a few hot flashes, nausea but no vomiting, been craving hot foods, and I’ve been having cramping, and gas cramping too but that’s only at night, my period was supposed to start today but it didn’t, so I’m gonna wait a little longer before I take a test, but could I be pregnant by that time frame? I on the 30th i had this uncomfortable cramp on my left side of my uterus as well, I believe that was my ovulation starting I’m not quit sure, I just need answers.
Hi Hanna, your signs do indicate a pregnancy. I know it must be hard to wait, but please wait till 18th April and only then take a test. Taking the test earlier might decrease its accuracy. All the very best!
Hi I am 5 days late for my period can I take first response pregnancy test.?
You can get the most accurate result if you wait at least one week after missing your period. Wait at least three more days before you take the test. The result might be even more accurate if the test is done first in the morning as the urine is far more concentrated at this time.
Hi..I got my period last march 7 and before it ended we got unprotected sex with my partner. It stopped that day and it came back again for 2 days..that’s march 10..until now. April 7 im not having my period..is it possible that im pregnant? I didn’t experienced any body changes.
Hi Elise, It has only been 33 days. I would suggest to wait a few days more before reaching any conclusion.
Also, never ever have sex without protection, until you are trying. All the best!

Hi Raj, although the signs do indicate pregnancy, they may be for some other reasons as well. Have you had unprotected sex recently? I would suggest to wait a few days more before reaching any conclusion.

Comment Text*my saw my period on the 24th March and it ended on the 28 then I had unprotected sex on the 3rd April. can I be pregnant? ?
There is some chance, yes. But please remember, that everytime sex does not result in a pregnancy. Also, never have unprotected sex until you are trying to conceive.
