I always, yes very consistently, have mild stomach pain and headache the day before period starts. After my period starts, lower back pain starts and ends after 24 hours. Yes, exactly one day. This month, the lower back pain continues thru the third day. On the fourth day, I couldn’t get off of bed because lower back and left hip and buttock cheek were in pain. I couldn’t even put on my own pants. I was in bed for 2 full days because I couldn’t walk. Once or twice before a similar situation occurred. What is my problem? Please share if you have similar experiences. Thank you,
Hi Deb, sorry to hear about that. Most probably this pain is not related to periods but might be due to some other issue. I would suggest that you consult a professional for this. ATB!
Hi, I always have pains around my right pelvic after and before my menses, I went for a scan but nothing was seen. I sometimes do feel the pain around my waist and my leg. Please, what should I do?
The best way to calculate your period is to count 28 dys from first day of your last period. Many different reasons for cramping. Usually no cramping in Earl part of pregnancy. May see about endometriosis.
Please advise!
I have a very unusual experience in menstrual cramps. Usually when my period starts in the morning, I have cramps until the end of my period, otherwise there’s none. What could be the reason for this?
Thank you for your reply!
Hi there. Every woman experience menstrual cramps in a different way. There are some who have cramping before, after and during their periods while others have other symptoms and no cramping. Have you discussed your cramping with your doctor? There may be a reason for it or it may just be the way your body responds to your period.
I been experiencing a lot of pain a week after my period, I’ve had surgery twice and they can’t find anything it’s been 4 yrs now and it’s so overwhelming. Should I go to a specialist because my ObGyn can’t identify the problem.
An ObGyn is a specialist for all gynecological issues. If you feel that strongly, you should probably seek a second opinion.

I have been off my menses for four days and today this pain just came out of nowhere. I am not constipated, but there is pressure when I sit and even walking. Yes, my husband and I are sexually active and we did have intercourse twice in a day for two days straight. Help, I don’t like pain, my cycle is over and so should the cramps. What could it be? Any advice to ease the pain is very much wanted.
Thanks In Advance.
