Hi, on 2 Dec15 I lost my baby at eight weeks. I was given cytotec varginaly and orally. On the 25th of Dec15 I had sharp shooting pain in my lower abdomen, so much so I could not walk. It lasted for about 20 min and slowly died off. Again on the 14th of Jan 16, I got the same sharp pain. It lasted for about 8 min and disappeared. Now a day after my period ended I have the same type of pain, but very mild. Should I be concerned? I never had such pain until I lost my baby. Please guide me on what I should do.
So far I do not believe there is an issue. The pains seem too far apart to detect a correlation between the baby and the pains. If these pain consist, I would highly recommend contacting a doctor to alleviate your anxieties. I wish you luck!
Hello, I am experiencing pain in my stomach when i eat after 2 days of menstruation. Can i be pregnant? I don’t believe it because i have been having sex with my husband on my fertile days but no result. Please what is the cause.
This pain could be just part of your cycle. Many women experience some pain during their cycle. It could also be caused by your stomach being distended and therefore putting extra pressure on your organs. Eating can also create gas or bloating and that can cause discomfort as well. I hope this helped!
Hi, I am having cramps that occur 2 or 3 days after my period. The bleeding and cramps during my period are normal. My periods are 3 days long and I have been on the nuva ring for a year and a half. In addition to the cramps, I suspect my vaginitis might be back. It was successfully cleared up about 6 months ago. This past month I have noticed inserting and taking out tampons have been painful (like my vagina is all dried out and irritated by the tampon). Most of my tampons came out soaked in a little blood and a lot of clear odorless discharge and urination is painful.
Hi,vaginitis does cause pain so you may be right that it might have returned, cramping after period could mean a lot of things but usually isn’t a cause for concern unless it becomes unbearable. nuva ring also causes cramps, once there is pain during urination then there might be infection so visit your doctor.

Hi,Many women experience changes in their cycle sometimes it can change from being shorter to longer even with pain even though you never use to experience any.if your period fail to stop and you are experiencing very bad cramps with large clots see your doctor to make sure everything is ok
My doctor put me on the pill because I’m having issues with my uterus. Now I have really bad back pain and goes into my legs – I’ve been taking a warm bath and it’s not relieving the pain plus I had my period for 4 days, two of which I went through a bag of pads and still leaked through 3 pairs of pants; that is not normal for me now I hardly have my period and the pain is brutal. What should I do?
You need to inform your doctor of the issues that you’re experiencing. You’re losing too much blood – you must seek medical attention.
Hello. My period stopped a week ago and since then I have been experiencing incredibly painful cramps in my abdominal muscles. I don’t know it is due to stress as it is my big exams this week, or something more serious. Help!
